Movie therapy can be defined as using movies for therapeutic purposes.
Movie therapy was first used in 1990 by L. Berg-Cross, P. Jennings, and R. Baruch, who defined the technique as a form of therapy in which a therapist selects films relevant to a person in treatment's areas of concern, which the individual might view alone or with specified others. In this short piece, I will attempt to compile some comments and articles about the movie Colette I watched today. Colette is a movie based on the life of the distinguished female French novelist Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette (1873 – 1954).
Dominic West plays the author’s exploitative husband. Keira Knightle plays Colette.
Colette is too curious and independent-minded for the quiet life of the country.
