In the post-Cold War era, new strategies and approaches have emerged in both political and security-related issues. Today world politics and local politics have been subject to major changes due to developments in technology and information.
Under this title of "cyberpolitics, cyberspace & online freedoms" for my research output I both covered historical phenomenon like nation states and globalization and also up-to-date discussions like erosion of state sovereignty as a result of growing interconnected among states and non state actors.
Since the late 1990s, the notions such as “cyberspace” ”cyberpolitics” and “cybersecurity” have taken a decisive role in the international political scene and in the discourses of state elites. Inspired by these developments, I have made a detailed research about concepts like “metaverse” “cyberbullying” “cyberterrorism” “cybersecurity” and “cyberspace” for more than 2 years
One of the points I emphasized in my research is that today, nation states do not only use military tools to fight terrorism. Cybersecurity instruments are also used, especially in intelligence. In addition to providing a vast literature review and latest developments globally like legal arrangements about cyberspace I covered two countries in work : Serbia and Turkey. In one of my publications titled “AN ANALYSIS OF SERBIA’S CYBERPOLITICAL HABITAT” I found that Serbia is a really interesting case despite not being a NATO member Serbia has got engaged in cyberspace-related cooperation with NATO.
Because of the current need to address cyber politics in recent years, I have contributed to the field in a considerable degree thanks to my studies.
